Yara Pink vs Yellow Lattafa – Honest Perfume Review Before Buying

If you’ve read some of my perfume reviews before, you probably know I’m quite sensitive to strong fragrances. Very intense perfumes can easily bother me, so I don’t buy perfumes often and I always prefer something softer and comforting.

I actually received Yara Lattafa Pink as part of a gift set that included three perfumes, and this one immediately caught my attention. It felt feminine, interesting, and easy to approach — so naturally, it was the first one I decided to try

First Impressions & Packaging

The packaging is honestly one of the first things that makes you smile. The soft pink bottle looks very feminine, elegant, and simple without feeling cheap.

It’s also worth mentioning that the packaging is basically the same design as Yara Yellow, just in a different color. But even though the bottles look similar, the scents are completely different in personality.

The bottle itself feels sturdy, easy to use. Also, the 100 ml size is generous, which is always a plus.

The scent is where this perfume really becomes special.

To me, Yara Pink smells like sweet vanilla with a soft powdery touch. It’s warm, cozy, and feminine without being overwhelming. It doesn’t hit you strongly — it gently settles around you.

If I had to describe it emotionally:

  • Pink Yara feels like flowers and softness.

  • Yellow Yara feels fruitier and more vibrant.

The pink version is clearly the softer tone. It’s sweet but calm, comforting rather than loud.

And for someone sensitive like me, that softness is exactly what I appreciate.

Longevity & projection – It lasts… but quietly

This part can be a bit confusing, so I want to explain it honestly.

The perfume does last on the skin, but because it’s already soft and warm, it becomes even softer over time. So sometimes it feels like it disappeared when actually it’s still there — just very close to the skin.

Many people experience around 4–6 hours of wear, but several factors affect this:

  • Sweet creamy perfumes naturally project less.

  • Dry skin absorbs fragrance faster.

  • Heat and climate can soften the scent quicker.

So, I would say:
It lasts, but in a gentle way — not a loud lasting perfume.

Comparison: Pink Yara vs Yellow Yara

Since I tried both, this comparison might help if you’re choosing between them.

Pink Yara:

  • Softer, sweeter, cozy

  • Feminine vanilla warmth

  • More subtle projection

  • Everyday comfortable perfume

Yellow Yara:

  • Stronger and brighter

  • Fruity tropical vibe

  • More noticeable projection

  • Often better longevity

Neither is bad. It really depends on personality.

If you want something noticeable → Yellow.
If you prefer soft elegance → Pink.

Personally, I choose Pink because I simply enjoy lighter perfumes more. That doesn’t mean Yellow is too strong overall — just stronger compared to Pink.

Who this perfume is for

You’ll probably love it if:

  • You prefer soft, feminine perfumes

  • Vanilla sweet scents comfort you

  • Strong perfumes give you headaches

  • You want an everyday easy fragrance

  • You like cozy, warm perfumes

Maybe not ideal if:
  • You want very strong projection

  • You expect very long-lasting intensity

  • You prefer fresh citrus or very fruity scent

My overall experience

For me, this perfume feels comforting. It never caused irritation, never felt overwhelming, and it’s easy to wear anytime.

It’s one of those perfumes that doesn’t try too hard — it just quietly becomes part of you.

And honestly, even though Yellow might perform stronger, I still reach for Pink more often because it matches my personality better.

Final verdict

Yara Lattafa Pink is a soft, sweet, feminine perfume that focuses on comfort rather than intensity. It may not be the strongest performer, but it offers warmth, elegance, and everyday wearability.

If you like gentle vanilla perfumes and want something pleasant without being overpowering, this one is definitely worth trying.

And if you’re hesitating between the pink and yellow versions — think of it simply like this:

Pink is flowers and softness.
Yellow is fruits and brightness.

Both lovely, just different moods.
